4.1 In relation to the number of participants, all races, of all categories will be broadcast live streaming, with exceptional commentators, which will be announced shortly.
5. GENERAL RULES
5.1 The track limits and related penalties will be managed directly by the software.
5.2 The penalties and sanctions imposed by the Race Direction for failure to respect the track limits are not appealable nor questionable.
5.3 In any session the use of in-game chat is forbidden.
5.4 The audio communications of the Race Direction will be through a dedicated channel on Discord server (the Race Direction will go to verify the Whisper), whose details will be communicated directly to the participants.
5.5 The Championship will be cancelled if there are not a minimum of 15 confirmed subscribed simdrivers, for each pre-qualification.
6.1 There are n.6 pre-qualification sessions (one for each circuit listed in art. 6.3); each of them will be active for 7 days, 1 session, then 1 track, is valid for 1 week,
6.2 The top 15 finishers of each pre-qualification are eligible to participate in the championship, divided into three categories (1-5 Pro, 6-10 Pro-Am, 11-15 Am) and consequently 3 servers. In total there are therefore 90 (30×3) places available to participate in the championship.
6.3 The tracks on which the pre-qualifications will take place are:
- Silverstone 2019,
- Monza 2019,
- Barcelona 2019,
- Spa-Francorchamps 2019,
- Laguna Seca,
7.1 The Qualifying session will be a unique 30-minute session in which all drivers will have free access to the track and can record their times.
7.2 Pressing ESC and returning to the pits if not inside your pitbox will result in a DNF for the current Qualifying session. This means that drivers need to complete a cooldown lap and enter the pitlane to reach their pitbox anytime they want to come back to the garage;
7.3 Press ESC is then equivalent to withdraw your vehicle.
7.4 In the cooldown lap and in the warmup lap you need to pay special attention to the drivers in their flying lap and let them pass without affecting their lap;
7.5 It is forbidden to go off the track in the approach to a flying lap to gain an advantage.
8.1 The championship race weekend includes Race 1 and Race 2.
8.2 In Race 2 the grid will be reversed for the first 8 drivers according to the order of arrival of Race 1.
8.3 Each race is expected to last 40 minutes.
8.4 For each race, a “Expected End Time” is provided, and indicated in the Reference Race Topic. This is the maximum limit within which the Race must end. It also represents the target within which the Race Duration/Distance will be set in case of shooting after Red Flag (see the appropriate paragraph).
8.5 The race will start through the start procedure launched integrated into ACC.
8.6 The start will be set to stay in a single row until the simulator does say otherwise, and then stay in double row until the green flag;
8.7 Although permitted by the software, it is forbidden to abuse the lack of collisions, thus try to maintain an adequate distance and pace;
8.8 The outcome in terms of penalties for each accident in the first lap will be doubled.
8.9 The race will be suspended if deemed appropriate by the Race Direction; The Race Direction will base its decision on potential technical problems reported by the drivers such as: desync, lag, freeze, mass disconnections, etc.;
8.10 The Race Direction, if necessary, can call the FCY (Full Course Yellow) situation at any time. The FCY will be declared whenever there is a dangerous situation that needs the neutralisation of the race. In these cases, the Race Direction will begin a 10-second countdown, at the end of which the drivers must be at the controlled speed of the pit limiter. Drivers need to make sure to slow down safely during the countdown so that they do not stop suddenly at the end of it, causing even more danger on the track;
8.11 If the conditions in the previous point do not fully occur, but there is a minor danger on the track, the Race Direction may warn the riders about slow cars on the track and/or debris instead of declaring an FCY;
8.12 During the FCY period all overtaking is prohibited. The “FCY period” is intended as from the start of the initial Countdown, until the end of the final countdown;
8.13 The behavior to keep when the FCY is called is ultimately this:
- 15 seconds: the FCY is called for the first time, from this moment you can no longer overtake;
- 10 seconds: start of the countdown, from this moment the drivers must start to slow down so as not to create dangerous situations;
- 5 seconds: From this moment the drivers must release the throttle pedal (in hairpins or at extremely low speed corners it is allowed to use no more than 50% of the accelerator only to avoid the stall). NOTE: In order to insert the limiter you have to be driving in first gear, be careful during this phase.
- Countdown term: Drivers must be at limiter speeds, with the limiter engaged;
8.14 Drivers or Team Managers are not allowed to request an FCY, but can still report any hazards to the Race Director;
8.15 The FCY will end with another 10-second countdown at the end of which the Race Direction will declare the “Green Flag” situation. As soon as the Green Flag is called drivers will be able to resume the normal race pace;
8.16 It is allowed to make a Pit Stop during an FCY, however unsportsmanlike behavior aimed at obtaining advantages illegally (see cutting parts of the track, passing through pitlane without making a pitstop to travel less road) will be severely penalized in the post-race.
9. GRAND FINAL
9.1 At the end of the championship the top 8 drivers for each of the three categories, get access to the final in order to compete for the final prizes.
9.2 The rules for track behaviour and the rules to follow are the same as for the five championship races.
9.3 The format of the final could differ from what was done for the championship and will be communicated in time.
